Every day, around 50 employees apply their expertise and passion to the technical design and manufacture of solid wood staircases, stair treads and front doors. Our products are manufactured with attention to detail and high-quality materials. Since 1979, we have stood for quality and tradition, which our customers can feel in every product.

Environment & Sustainability
We use the beautiful sunshine to cover our electricity needs. We are able to generate a full 70% of our energy consumption ourselves with modern photovoltaic systems on the roofs of our production halls. We also operate our own combined heat and power plant to produce the rest of our energy requirements as efficiently and environmentally friendly as possible. We use chips from our production as fuel.
Training at güta
We train wood mechanics in the field of “Production of construction elements, wooden packaging and frames”. In addition to manual skills, we also teach them how to use modern CNC technology. Our trainees learn how to process wood and wood-based materials for staircase production, how to cut and glue wood and how to treat surfaces professionally.
The training includes a vocational preparation year (BGJ) in Memmingen, attendance at the vocational school in Memmingen or Gunzenhausen as well as inter-company further training. After successfully completing their training, we try to offer our trainees a position in our company and become part of our team.
Training 2025
As of September 1, 2025, we are again offering two apprenticeships for wood mechanics (m/f/d).
